For me, the sauna's an ideal chance to relax and an effective way of recovering after a stressful day.
Especially after a workout at the gym or after a run. Then all you want to do is take off your training clothes and enjoy a wonderful session in the sauna! It doesn't need to be too long – 30-40 minutes are enough, and you feel restored and perfectly relaxed.
On Fridays I usually slip away from work a little bit early and switch on the sauna as soon as I get home, then I've just got enough time for my Friday jog before the sauna reaches the perfect temperature.
That's how I use the sauna – not for as long as my husband – but more often. It's just so simple and gives you so much energy back!
Then at the weekend, of course the whole family gathers in the sauna. An hour can pass by without you even noticing it. Especially if you keep it at about 75 degrees. And if you sit there a little bit longer, there's always a chance that your husband or the children will have laid the table for dinner. Now then, there was a tip from me as well! Sit there a bit longer and enjoy it, and out you come and the table's been laid!
How wonderful! It's the best way of spending a Sunday, I promise you.
